For over 30 years, Syscomax has been carrying out ambitious and innovative turnkey construction projects across Quebec. Our team, made up of passionate professionals, stands out for its expertise, collaboration, and constant drive to push industry standards.
We are currently looking for two (2) Construction Superintendents to provide leadership and coordination for our projects on site.
Your Role
As a Superintendent, you are the conductor of on-site operations. You oversee the progress of work, the quality of execution, adherence to schedules, and the strict application of health and safety standards. You play a key role in the success of each project by ensuring effective collaboration among all involved parties.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee all on-site activities
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure project schedules are met
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times
- Conduct daily inspections and maintain quality control of the work
- Quickly identify on-site issues and implement effective solutions
- Work closely with the project manager to stay on budget and on schedule
- Lead site meetings and follow up as needed
- Ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and contract requirements
- Maintain positive professional relationships with clients, professionals, and partners
- Produce daily reports, progress updates, and any required documentation
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of site practices and processes
