Requirements and skills
You are a professional with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry and you have a bachelor’s degree in construction or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the execution of the project within the agreed timeframes
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors, in collaboration with the estimating department
- Ensure compliance with the established contract and respect for the budget
- Control and coordinate construction plans
- Ensure that you understand and respect the contract, the discussions between the seller and the customer, the customer's needs and Syscomax's expectations
- Comply with the quality standards and standards expected by the company
- Be responsible for administrative aspects with municipalities, government agencies, MELCCFP (Québec Ministry of the Environment, the Fight Against Climate Change, Wildlife and Parks) and others
- Respect the schedule presented to the client
- Be the contact person and stakeholder between all parties
- Establish a relationship with the Superintendent to plan and coordinate work with subcontractors and suppliers
- Determine, in conjunction with the Superintendent, the critical points of the project
- Ensure compliance with safety measures with all site stakeholders
