Requirements and skills
You are a professional with experience in the construction industry and you have training in health and safety from a recognized institution. You hold a CNESST prevention officer card (an asset).
Responsibilities:
- Welcome workers to sites
- Promote workers’ health and safety at sites or workplace prevention
- Ensure all work complies with standards and regulations
- Regularly inspect workplaces
- Take part in project planning
- Take actions to prevent workplace accidents
- Issue work permits and disciplinary notices if necessary
