We are looking for a reliable, rigorous person who likes to work in a team. We also need him to be able to manage multiple project priorities simultaneously and to be proactive, organized, autonomous and analytical.
Requirements and skills
You have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in the construction industry and you have :
- Excellent command of the complete accounting cycle per construction project
- DEC or AEC in Accounting
- Very good knowledge of Word and Excel
- Proficiency in Maestro software (asset)
- Fluency in written and spoken French
- Fluency in the English language (asset)
Responsibilities:
- Perform the complete cycle of accounts payable per project (processing invoices and purchase orders, issuing cheques, sending the age of accounts)
- Follow up on various accounts payable
- Verify and request statements of account
- Ensure compliance with payment terms for suppliers and subcontractors
- Respond to various requests from suppliers and subcontractors (e.g., request for follow-ups on payment)
- Perform invoicing in collaboration with project managers
- Issue receipts and updates to receipts following the collection
- Collect past accounts receivable due
- Establish and maintain a relationship of trust with our internal and external customers
- Ensure follow-up at the end of the project (purchase order, statement of account, etc.)
- Validate project information with the software in place
- Support the fulfillment and accounting team in carrying out all administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of operations
