Requirements and skills
- College-level training in accounting (DEC or ASP)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry
- Knowledge of Maestro software (strong asset) and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Functional command of English
Responsibilities:
- Produce and send monthly client invoices, in conjunction with project managers.
- Manage all special invoicing situations.
- Create new client and project entries in the accounting software.
- Ensure the accuracy of invoicing information (client name, contact details, etc.).
- Act as the contact person for various client requests (statements of account, invoice copies, etc.).
- Update client files in the accounting software and Excel.
- Start collection process on overdue accounts.
- Maintain a current record of collection activities for follow-up purposes.
- Share and communicate information on receivables with team members.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of procedures already in place.
